Microdermabrasion, Quimical Peels (glycol AHA, BHA, etc.) 48 hours prior.
Less than a year of Laser Surgery, ask your doctor.

Other factors that may affect your waxing experience:
Antibiotics – May lift skin and make it extremely red, Allergies. Also lack of sleep, Caffeine, Alcohol.

Be Clean. Come freshly showered.
Be Dry. Cleanliness is appreciated, but please skip on the lotion, you’ll get better results if your skin is less oily.
Be Hairy. Your hair should be at least 1/4 of inch in length or longer (which makes it long enough to lay flat on your skin). Please don’t shave for at least one to two weeks prior to your appointment to ensure that your hair is long enough! Also, if you’ve ‘let it go’ down there and it seems out of control, don’t worry! Our specialists will trim any longer hairs to the proper length prior to the removal process.
Be Comfortable. If possible, wear loose clothing that day to prevent irritation in the post-wax phase.
Be Relaxed. Reportedly the more relaxed your muscles are, the better your hair removal results will be!
Worry for pain. You may want to take an anti-inflammatory such as Ibuprofen or your choice pain killer one or two hours before waxing. No Aspirin.

Depending on what service you are having the Technician may ask you to remove your clothes. For Brazilian you will be asked to remove your underwear in a treatment room and you will have the option of a disposable towel during the treatment. By removing your underwear you protect your clothing as well as provide optimal working conditions so that the technician can get all of the unwanted hair. Buttocks strip is optional when you have the Brazilian.
Prep the Area. Your technician will cleanse the area to eliminate potentially dangerous bacteria that may exist on your skin.
Consultation. Your technician will examine the hair length, and trim accordingly for safety purposes as well as your preference. She will also ask you about what areas you would like to leave hair and how much of it you would like to leave.
The Fun Part, Getting Rid of the Hair. Your technician will perform the actual waxing.
Fine-tuning. Your technician will present a mirror for you to view the result and the approval of your new ‘do’ as well as check for any stray hairs!
You’re Done. You are finished and ready to go about the rest of the day! (Oh, please remember to dress before leaving the room!) And remember, If this is a new ‘thing’ for you, treat your ‘Brazilianized’ bikini like you would any other haircut, try it out for a few days and then decide!

Post-Care

Avoid Irritation. Keep hands away from touching freshly waxed skin, as this can encourage irritation or small pimples. Also do not use harsh cleaners or creams for 24-48 hours post-waxing.
Calm Skin. Use Neosporin, Aloe Vera or Hydrocortisone as a topical application during healing process. Also you can Dab on Hydrogen peroxide every 6 hours for 24 hours post-waxing.
No Sex. Unfortunately with Brazilian or any type of bikini wax to avoid irritation, NO Sexual Activity for 24 hours.
No Hot Bath. Don’t take hot tubs, hot showers or baths for 24 hours post-waxing.
No Peels or Dermabrasion for 24 hours post-waxing.
Avoid chlorine for 4 hours post-waxing.
No Tanning Bed, saunas or steam rooms for the next 3 days.
Stop Ingrown Hair. Do not exfoliate for 2-3 days post waxing, and then exfoliate at least 2 to 3 times per week in the shower, it will help get rid of the dead skin cells and help lift the hairs growing out. Hairs are curly and will either come out and grow right back into the skin, in these cases also a body brush or loofah is recommended.
Results. For optimum results is very important that you avoid shaving between waxes.

What is the difference between Bikini and Brazilian?
Brazilian differs from a regular bikini wax because hair is removed in the front, back and everything in between. You can leave a landing strip on the front or any design.

What is a Bikini Line?

Is waxing three inches outside your panty line area.

What is a Deep Bikini?

When a landing strip is left in the front, back and in between.

Is it painful?
If you are concerned about the pain, well is not as bad as many people believe it to be. As you do more waxing treatments, the pain drops down as your skin becomes used to the treatment. Each individual is different, what may seem painful for one may not seem painless for the other, however we use special Technics to make your waxing experience very comfortable and relaxing.

Can I get waxed been pregnant?
It is okay, unless otherwise advised by your doctor it should not be a problem however we do recommend that if you are in the last trimester of your pregnancy you limit your waxing to certain areas.

Can I get waxed been in my period?
Yes you can, but your body is more sensitive and your skin may experience more redness than usual.

How long does the wax last?
Normally 3 to 5 weeks, each individual hair growth and needs are different.

Reasons why men get body waxing:
Men who shave are now opting to avoid the itchy and go for a longer-lasting, smoother solution.

Swimmers and body-builders tend to get all of their body hair removed, especially before competition.

Personal preference, some guys hate body hair as much as some women!
